Pilates and Zumba classes are now being offered at BPP in Holborn and Shepherds Bush:

Mondays 1pm Pilates Holborn
Tuesdays 6pm Zumba Holborn
Wednesdays 1pm Pilates Shepherds Bush
Thursdays 6pm Zumba Shepherds Bush

Classes are £5 each, or a block of 10 classes can be bought for £40. These can be redeemed for either zumba or pilates.

Pilates is a highly respected form of exercise, focussing on breathing and technique in order to activate and strengthen the core muscles. Regular practice can lead to improved posture and flexibility, a flatter stomach and a greater sense of well being. It is very popular with athletes and dancers as an important component of their training.

Zumba is an extremely popular Latin dance based exercise class. The emphasis is on having fun and you will be surprised at how hard you have worked while enjoying this energetic and motivating class.

Rowena is a personal trainer, fitness instructor and professional dancer with several years of experience teaching classes in London. She is also a salsa performer and instructor and regularly performs in London and abroad.

The BPP ‘Learning Support Skills Sessions’ (LSSS) have been created to provide additional advice and knowledge to Learning Support students.
We aim to provide group development sessions for our members that would provide updates and tutorials on new software on the market, tutorials on developing learning and study techniques and a network in which members can support and encourage each other during their studies. We meet on Fridays at 2pm in Waterloo Campus. Sessions are focused on student requests!

BPP London 5KM for Mental Health Awareness Week

From the 13th-19th May it is Mental Health Awareness week http://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/our-work/mentalhealthawarenessweek/, an event created by the Mental Health Foundation.

This year’s theme is Physical Activity / exercise and how it benefits you mental wellbeing.

The inclusion team are looking to arrange two events to show our support and raise money for the MHF. A 5km run at 12noon, one in London (15th May) and one in Manchester (16th May).

I would like to ask who would be interested in RUNNING, WALKING or even MOONWALKING the route with us to raise money and awareness of Mental Health.
