We are excited to launch BPP’s new set of ‘Career Skills’ which are crucial for your entry into/ progression within professional work. They have been produced in collaboration across the BPP Group, including with our student and learner representatives.
We hope they reflect what you are looking to develop as you progress through your time at BPP and in professional work. We believe that developing these skills will reinforce what you are learning on your course and enhance your employment.
Each month there is going to be a focus on one of the 10 different skills with events, webinars, videos, podcasts and other resources to join, follow, absorb and learn from.
For August, the focus is on Communication, which is at the core of your BPP journey and fundamental to you getting the most out of you programme. This will be followed by ‘Resilience and Wellbeing’ in September and ‘Emotional Intelligence’ in October.
Details can be found on CareerHub, Virtual Campus, the Online Library, the Employability newsletter and/or the student VLE. Recent resources added have included part-time jobs for BPP students, what is Legal Tech? and the Graduate Immigration Route (formerly the Post Study Work Visa).
