Yoga Club - London

The aim of the Yoga Society is to provide affordable yoga classes and workshops to students and promote general well being.

Yoga has many reported benefits for health, ranging from physical health through the more intensive exercises, to physical recovery and mental wellbeing through the more gentle classes. For students in particular who tend to be stressed and can feel out of control, expensive yoga classes which take place in unapproachable studios elsewhere in London could possibly cause more harm than good.

By providing a class that is on familiar ground, taught by a fellow student, each person can feel supported and empowered to explore new things and take their wellbeing into their own hands.

About the teacher

Anastasia is a qualified vinyasa yoga teacher, completing her 200 hour training with MUDRA Yoga in Edinburgh 2017.

Curiosity is what led Anastasia to her first yoga class six years ago, but it wasn’t until she began to explore teachers and experiment with styles that she fell in love with the practice. Eventually she wanted to explore the practice more deeply and in the process found that she loved teaching too.

Anastasia's goal is to teach authentically and with purpose and she loves showing how yoga can offer tools for both on and off the mat. By creating classes looking at the body holistically, Anastasia aim to help people feel empowered, explore new perspectives, and inspire curiosity.
