Streetlaw volunteers are hosting an online workshop on the Safe and Responsible Use of Generative AI on Wednesday 29th October 2025, from 5.15pm to 6.30pm.
This interactive session will help pro bono volunteers understand what generative AI is, why people use it, the potential risks, and how to make responsible choices about when and how to use AI tools. Participants will explore real and fictional scenarios, gaining practical insight into how AI impacts pro bono and academic work.
Importantly, the workshop will also provide clear guidance on BPP’s policies around the acceptable use of generative AI, ensuring volunteers know how to comply and maintain professional standards throughout their work.
The session is ideal for all current pro bono volunteers and anyone curious about joining the Streetlaw project, offering a glimpse into the type of experiences and learning opportunities it provides.
