Hello, my name is Dan Scrase, and I am honoured to be your Student President for 2024-25. I'm from Bangor, North Wales and have just completed an LLM in Law and Legal Practice (SQE1 route). Throughout my career, I have worked with various local and national charities, focusing on wellbeing and mental health (including Samaritans). Currently I serve as a trustee for North Wales Community Law and as a Co-Convenor for the UK Environmental Law Association.
I care deeply for nature and believe that BPP University must be at the heart of the movement to protect our planet for future generations. As someone who has experienced mental health challenges, I am committed to integrating wellbeing values into the fabric of university life. I pride myself on being straightforward and plain-speaking (hate corporate jargon). Expect me to listen well and show that I genuinely care.
